                       Installation:

1. If you have the Conflicts in Civilisation SCENARIOS disk.

   a. Unzip your Vandals! files with Winzip.
   b. Open the Civilisation directory.
   c. Open the Scenarios directory.
   d. Create a map called Vandals!
   e. Copy your unzipped Vandals! files into this map.
   f. Create a map called Sound inside the Vandals! map.
   g. Copy the sound (wav) files into this map.
   h. Open and play it like any other Conflicts in
      Civilisation scenario.

2. If you haven't got the Conflicts in Civilisation disk.

   a. Get a Mod Pack Manager (probably available in the
same site you got this scenario).
   b. Follow the enclosed instructions.

                           Advances

There are so many new advances that the best way to find out about all
of them is to use the Civilopedia or the Science Advisor. I will men-
tion a few of the most important ones here, divided in three branches:

                   1. The Byzantine branch
THEOCRACY (formerly known as Fundamentalism) is reached through so
many different advancements that you don't want to try it unless you're
the Byzantines or the Sasanids. CHEMICALS and CONSCRIPTION can be
reached after you've got THEOCRACY and METALLURGY.

                   2. The Western branch
TACTICS, CHIVALRY and SERFDOM are the three most important advance-
ments in this branch. The Franks are researching Tactics and the Visi-
goths FEUDALISM when the scenario begins.

                   3. The Italian branch
MAGNETISM, NAVAL WARFARE are the main naval improvements, through
these you can reach BANKING and the REPUBLIC.

                          Special Notes

* Pollution is not a factor
* This is a total war scenario, meaning that spacecraft is not a con-
   sideration.
* Each turn is a quarter of a year.
* Scientific research progresses at 40/10 rate, that is slower than
   a usual game.

Thanks to Harlan Thompson for his collection of ancient units, if you
concider doing an ancient, medieval scenario, get this Graphics Pack!
And thanks to all the numerous scenario-editors whose graphics i have
borrowed.
If anyone wants to use my own graphics, go on.

I know of one bug: the Events file won't work. It isn't very important
for the game but if you have the solution to this problem write to:
